🚗 I drove my 2019 Tesla Model 3 today, combining Lyft with Amazon Flex:
🟣 Lyft: $123.27 📦 Amazon Flex: $90.00 💵 Total earned: $213.27 🛣️ Total mileage for BOTH apps: 175.55 miles 📊 Gross earnings per mile: $1.21
That $213 looks good—but it’s before charging, tires, maintenance, depreciation, and taxes.
Driving electric helps with operating costs, but those miles still cost money. And stacking apps only works when the extra earnings justify the extra driving and time.
My takeaway: track the WHOLE day. Include the miles between rides, getting to the warehouse, and heading home. Those miles count when deciding whether the work was worth it. 💯
